my check engine light didnt turn on and my tranny seems fine now. i thought it was my tranny but when i drained the tranny fluid just 2 days ago and put redline in runs great now. i just want to get the VSA light off. can someone disconnect the VSA and cruise control switch and push the VSA and see if it clicks. because mines doesnt click at all anymore. the switch should feel the same as the cruise when you push it am i correct?

Are Both the VSA Activation (!) and VSA Malfucntion lights are on? Mine has been on since spring, and i havnt got around to diag the problem. I hooked up a scanner and it flashed the Code 84. Its one of 3 sensor-yaw, accelerometer, or steering wheel angle sensor. BTW your ordinary OBDII scanner will not work, I used a Snap-On Modis scanner.

Both my vsa & cel came on & stayed on. I tried disconnecting the ground on my battery & they still came on. Long story short it turned out to be a bad O2 sensor. These along with other emission parts are required to be warrantied by the dealer to 70k, by the EPA. Dealer has to warranty it @ no cost to you as long as your under the milage stated above.
