because i bought the car a month and a half ago. and its got 164000 miles on it. the motor look to be in prestine condition and im not thinking it the same motor that came with the car, especially with the condition i got the car in. so i would like to match it up just to make sure. can you send me a pic of where yours is so i can just hop right to it

acura head tech told me they are supposed to transfer the vin plate over to the warranty trans,,so its supposed to go with that car,,records all match
BUT
Many techs are lazy and dont do it

a/c dont trash your old trans--off it to a ziner for cheap,,let someone rebuild it and get started in that biz!!

if i call this number will they tell me more honestly if i need to take the car in for any of the recalls or would i be better off with the dealer

haha i cared because i have 178k on the clock, i've had the car for four years and since 115k and was wondering if my transmission was unique and had lasted that long haha.
my best guess is the tranny went out, the lady fixed it sold the car, bought a lexus and i bought it. all in all i'm still glad i replaced it before i started having problems.
