For about a week now i have been hearing this weird thud/clank/rattle noise from the rear driver side suspension. The noise is only heard when i go over a bump or pot hole. None of the other sides do it. It is not the schock bottoming out, I thought it was something loose so last night i jacked up the car and re-torqued all the bolts. The tie rods/end links are fairly new, all the bushings look fine. I checked the sway bar and the bushing they look in good shape. I am lost has anyone experienced anything like this before? Also i am lowered on FF Type I, they are about a year 1/2 old less then 10K miles on them i dont think its the coilovers.

 

i checked the exhaust hangers as well and nothing was improved. IDK what this could be but its very annoying just the rear driver side makes the noise the passanger rear does not. i think that i am going to check the tops of the suspension to see if those bolts might have gotten loose somehow.

 

give every bushing the pry bar test--not just visual

I would believe a shock top nut is loose- they can be tricky to tighten when you install different shocks or springs

 

yea i never checked them when i got them they were all pre-assembled so i didnt mess with them. Also could it be the Sub in the back vibrating around or lose screw?
