Somethings going on with my baby. I'll put it in park and it revs up to 2000 RPM then goes to 0, then repeats over and over. What's going on? It does this in Neutral and Drive as well. It feels very sluggish when I'm driving it as well. Any help is appreciated!

Clean your IAV valve

 

If cleaning the IAC valve doesn't help, check for a vacuum leak. Also make sure your intake boot is secure and look at your coolant level. If the coolant's low or has air trapped within the system, the car's idle can become rather funky.

 

What is the last thing you did to the car, or when the problem started
How many miles on the car now?
Check the idle control as suggested

 

mine did the same thing..replaced the iac and all was good

 

Yep, sounds like the AIC (Air Idle Control Valve)

 

Honestly, it's weird. It stopped doing it but it still bothers me that it did it to begin with. I hadn't done anything to the car before it started doing it. It had been parked outside my job and I was just going home when it happened. The car has 68500 miles on it. I'm going to get the idle control checked out and see what happens.
