Is the trunk release linked to a fuse?

Can anyone tell me if the trunk release mechanism on a 2000 Acura TL is controlled by any of the fuses?
Thanks

Thanks for the info.
If it is controlled by the same fuse as the door locks then I guess it may be the solenoid that is bad because the automatic door locks still work. The trunk latch is stuck in the open position and the latch mechanism has tension on it so I think the cable is ok. Any ideas? Change the solenoid?

First check if there is any power going to the solenoid when the truck switch is depressed. The switch or the wiring may be bad.

I do not think it has to do with electrical!
It is supposed to work independent of electrical power.i.e.
close, and open via the emergency thingy in the trunk you can access by droppiny your rear seat back rest.
Try playing around with the latch part and see if it frees up. Get it to function manually first then bother about the power aspect.
Some oil or wd 40 can be helpfull.

I beleive something mechanically is stuck.
