where do you find the build date of our transmissions???

 

you dont. Why?

 

needed to find out if the transmission a friend of mine just picked up was built after the bad ones..

i just picked one up recently and we're going to do our swaps together

 

6 speed?

 

If you're doing 6 speed swaps then you don't need to know when it was made. The automatics are the ones with the problems, not the manuals.

 

i wish it was a 6-speed swap... unfortunately my money is tied up in redoing the entire interior of the car... there was a small misfortune of an electrical fire inside.... don't ask me how because i'm completely baffled.....
