transmission actin up again

im drivin home from the store the other night and after stop at an intersection the car has sluggish acceleration and not so much a slip but a strong shift shock from 1st to 2nd gear, and when i redline it it doesnt change gears but stays stuck in 1st gear

now do these seem like symptoms of an ailing transmission, or just a single part?

because this will be the forth tranny on this tl, and its gettin kinda outta control

any input would be appreciated guys

as far as regular driving goes, its fine for the most part except for the severe shock

You redline the TL in 1st gear- with an automatic- that you had replaced many times already?????
And you wonder why there is a problem with them?

How many CVs have you been thru?

I am just guessing that the OP does more than redline the trans in first- something involving nuetral drops and drag racing- only reason I can figure to pull that much rpm in 1st

im not vince torreto over here, but everyone just floors it every now and then

why let that 3.2 VTEC go to waste?

i change my oil today and find out that the original owner has never changed/flushed the tranny fluid in his 130,000 miles

what a dunce

at any rate i did that and it seems to drive like a car with 153,000 miles should

thanks guys
