ok, so other than simply swapping in a new defected trans in over and over again, is it possible to swap in another trans thats not so prone to failure? accord trans? or is there a way to 'build' the 5at from a tls so that it wont fail? im just wondering every single option there is other than replacing the same trans over and over and cl 6mt...

the auto trans will still blow, sooner or later. newer units last longer but still go.
6spd swap and u will have no headaches. and cost around the same as an auto trans, if u do the work yourself
