Tranny Rebuild?

I've got a 2000 TL with 90k miles on it that I just bought from my Mother in law. She bought it new and it's been taken good care of all its life. It drives and runs great but I know that transmissions were an issue with this model. What do you think my chances are of going another 60k or so with this one holding together? I have the letter that Acura sent out stating that the tranny warrenty was upgraded to 7 years and 100k miles because of the known problems, so its still under warrenty. If it did blow up under warrenty, do you know if they rebuild it or do they put in a new one? Is it the same bad design as the old one or is it a newer and better design?

They will install a rebuilt. The rebuilts have newer designed parts that so far seem to be holding up.
