Hey Islandbanker, at least you gave it your best shot.....sorry the drain 'n fill and other tips did'nt help. I fully understand the situation being down a car.

I'm assuming that AAMCO did your rebuild. Did they tell you what the problem was ? Hopefully, they used Honda fluid. Anyways, in the meantime.....read the fine print and keep the warranty in a safe place !

I don't blame you on that one, I almost had to do the same thing. Nobody wanted to do the av6 swap and when I found a shop willing to do it they wanted 1200$ labor

to do it. I was talking to a friend about it and he said e would help me with it. It took a Friday but I got it done and have about 200 miles on it now. Hopefully everything works out for you
