Unhappy TL type S accelerate

Hi All,

I have a little problem with my TL type S. I don't know if this is normal, but accelerting on my TL seems slow, not fast as it like 4 cyl, pick up seems slow

Does anyone know what's the promblem or it's normal?

I heard some people said TL S has heavy wheels that's why you feel like that

Heavy wheels? What are you talking about? Do you mean a heavy FLYwheel?

What's your 0-60 time ? Most people who come from big block V8 cars also find the TL-S slow.

Seafoam!?! Get some of your performance back?

When I'm not thinking about gas consumption, my TLS flys. No problem accelerating.

There may be a dead body under your gas pedal.

Seriously though, we need more to go on to help you...!

Are you flooring it? Does the 2nd stage actuator on the intake manifold work? Does Vtec engage? Where is it shifting?

Also the TL does NOT have heavy wheels

If you're low on oil your vtec might not be opperating. This would reduce the power of your motor.

YOu may also have a dirty air filter changing the A/F mix in the motor.

Year and mileage would be helpful.
