ok so i tried fixing my exhaust and bought a stock muffler from salvage yard it didn't mount correctly.. so I got to get something else Im thinking of replaceing it with another oem muffler or should I should I go after market? the oem muffler shipped I think is like 200.00. and I dont know if I would like Tsudo's cause of the brand I guess but I dont know what I want to do yet anyone have any suggestions the hondaprotege is an idiot and probably be the only to do this.. but ayee someones has to go thru it... I guess it would be me..

I want to correct this Asap cause muffler tip is sitting kind of right up the back bumper and that doesnt look safe or good to me at all

 

i might just end of getting the tsudo...

alrite cool i kinda was iffy but reading up on a couple post, They dont seem to bad. The material seems good. I just hope I get stuck with slanted exhaust when they are suppose to be on straight. anyone have any suggestions on these axle back exhaust?? Im not very picky either of course I would love some comptech exhaust but Im kind of in a bine and not expected to mod my exhaust but this little blunder just might make my tl a little shinier.

 

They won't be slanted. If anything the drivers side muffler will be sitting too high. You just need new rubber hangers if so.

 

hahha this will be my first mod if i do anything. I dont really consider the k and n filter i use a mod but it does seem like one haha

 

So I went to the auto yard today found a tl type s in pearl white with the muffler still perfect condition lucky, also I only needed one so I got it for 50.00 and paid 40.00 to get it installed.. when I got it installed at my buddy's shop the problem that still existed was the Y pipe was bent cause I "probably" hit it trying to drift in a sam's club parking lot when I first got my car trying to figure out and get use to the foot parking brake, so I took it to AAA muffler and they heated up the Y pipe and bent it back to as close as they could get it to factory spec just a lil pushed back a smidge but old well its perfectly mounted on the rubber hangers and routed nicely drove it and I dont know if its in my mind but it sounds 100 times better and drives like the exhaust flows and pulls hard she def always acknowledges her good treatments washed it up and it look like a million bucks
