TiMiNg BeLt....

Im mechanically inclined, but thought that I would ask first before doing it. I got the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump for my tl. Is there a DIY page or is there something I need to know before tackling it?

iirc the thread is in gen3 and titled: 105k service completed
by: Southern

This is a pain job if you have never done a FWD water pump timig belt job
not much room to work- and takes a while to do
Adjust the valves while you are in there!!
If unsure after reading DIY - consult a few shops for price on labor

Have you replaced any timing belts before? Have you done mods of sorts?

Yes, I have changed the timing belt in my older 1993 integra. Im a marine mechanic though, I mostly work on I/O's ( 305's, 350's, 454's.......) Mercruiser's. But I have done all the mods on my TL myself, I/H/E, gutted cat, changed ALL motor mounts, ignition switch.............I have a shop with all the tools needed so im going to look for that thread first then go for it........thanks.

if you can do it on the teg, you can do it on this. Have fun. Buy the crank pully tool, or you will be pissed, and have to go buy it once you fail to get the bolt loose.
