Ticking when warm.....

OK, I posted something on here before about my car ticking only when warm and I got some suggestions so I used one of them this weekend, did an oil change with 5w 30, and put in Lucas Oil stablizer, STILL TICKING!!! I've read some threads and saw that this is nothing major but it is very annoying, any more suggestions????

ya, a search would most likely reveal its your purge solenoid. does the ticking come from the fire wall right around the master cylinder area? if so, thats what it most likely is, a common thing on the acura's, nothing wrong witht he car, let it be. i replaced mine, still ticks, i gave up. F it.

On honda/acura it is common for the valves to tick just get them adjusted. Sometimes the valves will tick if you are low on oil or using the wrong grade gas

Thanks alot guys, would I be able to adjust the valves myself and how? Is it expensive to get done, just want to get rid of the ticking, it gets annoying especially when its really quiet, thats all you hear.

if i had a $100 on it, you don't need to touch your valves, i don't know why people get such a kick out of thinking this. these engines aren't racing engines, and your not running it at redline at hours at a time. IMO, let it be.
