Ticking...

I have a ticking coming from my engine. I have heard about some unit near the firewall that could be causing this but I do not think this is my problem. I have also heard about having the valves adjusted but is this a real thing and does it work? Any other ideas that could be the problem, its a ticking that sounds like valves (RPM dependent) when its warm, any ideas? Thanks.

Well if its not the purge control solenoid, its most likely a exhaust leak or the valves. Yes valve adjusting is real. It really not something to try to DIY unless you know what your doing. Id get an opinion from a mechanic as to what it is. Our motors have been known to tick somethat

I would not attempt this myself, I would have a Acura/Honda dealer do it for me (no Acura dealer in my city, is Honda qualified to do it?).
