i have 99 acura TL 3.2 and have problem with TCS and engine light on. my code reading is p0401. i changed EGR vlv. cleaned EGR port and also use seafoam to clean it many time over. i reset the code but it still coming back. has anyone run into the same problem like this. i really need to fix this to be able to get me a new tap this month. thanks in advance.

 

 

please verify on the egr system cleaning: the intake manifold was removed from the engine and placed on your workbench
While using a few cans of carb cleaner to loosen crud, A wire coat hanger was poked thru the internal passage the length of the manifold, including the 2 holes under egr valve all the way to opposite end of manifold
plus the single port feeding the manifold?

Seafoam has no way to reach the egr system except slight amount thru exhaust
How did you seafoam , where= gas tank or master vac port (not some other vac port) and amounts = half can?
