I will agree with wheel speed sensor damaged,,could have torn the wire or heat melted sensor lead...
pull the wheel and look behind the hub for a toothed gear and small sensor

you would be surprised how many new to the car think the light ON means system good and standing by!
gender aside- plenty of men have made stranger mistakes!

TCS is front wheel speed control thru use of brakes on faster/spinning wheel-up to 16mph
so I would look at the sensors there
pretty common failure actually, sometimes on its own from rust, or by careless action during front brake job = tears the wire to sensor

Okay i definitely agree about the stranger mistakes part. hahaha.

Anyways what your saying is TCS only controls front two wheels? so the sensor should be on the front tires? anyone know how much it costs to take to someone and have them do it? or how much acura would charge to fix?

acura wont treat you right,,look for a private shop ad in phone book- honda acura listed as cars they normally work on
Its pretty simple parts swap if wheel speed sensor is broken
a code reading will tell if thats the case

TCS Traction Control only works below 16mph /25kph
the computer picks up a differance in rotation speed of the front wheels and applies the brake rapidly on and off to the offending faster wheel
Its guessing you are on ice or similar and just starting to move forward

GET the codes read. We cant help you fix the issue if we dont know whats wrong. Warning lights on the dash can mean MANY things.
