TCS comes on when I accelerate lightly?

Recently, I found out that my TCS comes on during light acceleration from a stand still, there is absolutely zero wheel spin or hop. Anyone know whats going on?

check: tires pressure, tire sizes, wheel sensors, VSS signal, speedometer.

Would this happen if you're using the donut spare?

I imagine the engineers figured the spare tire case and factored that into the programming of the ecu.

no, the manual mentions that if you're on the spare and the TCS keeps kicking in to turn it off, ECU has no way of knowing what tire you have on the car so it only measures differences in speed

+1 on comparing tires
