Strange problem with headlight
Here's a weird problem I've noticed recently. I turn on the headlights and they both work normally. If I flash the highbeam, the left headlight goes out. If I turn the headlights off and on again, they both work normally. I also noticed one night when I got home that the left headlight was out, but I don't remember if I used the highbeams on the way home (I live in the country). 2000 TL, 80,000 miles. Any suggestions as to what could be going on?

On your 2000- are the high beams a seperate bulb from the HID?
My 01 system leaves the lows on all the time and when you click highs on-
it adds those bulbs to the array so 4 lights are on.
This prevents your HID from electrical burst
You are about the right mileage and age for new bulbs
Phillips 4600K are recommended
Higher numbers like 5000 6000 8000 are
different color and put LESS light on the road
Stick to factory spec on this item
Replace in pairs

You can swap the bulbs left to right and see if it goes away
Check all the electrical connections- spray cleaner in them and ck the ground wires are good
Spike could be problem- bulb? with it related to the hi beam- or just coincidence
Part #4300 not 4600 DOH! I am going to be placed on the no advice givin for a week list!
Better get it together before more mistakes!
