so i searched but can't find this precise symptom...
recently when starting the car i get an intermittent high pitched buzzing/whining noise that i can best describe as a weedwacker (i haven't been able to record the sound but will try to upload a clip). after a few seconds/putting the car in gear the sound changes to continuous. it changes with rpm, and seems to increase with intensity when i steer. the sound goes away once the car is warmed up, though. does this sound like the PS pump going out or is it something else?
