Stock rims bent, replace or get fixed?
Stock rims bent, replace or get fixed?
So I had my tires rotated and balanced today. The mechanic told me the two rear rims were bent, not badly but definitely bent. Recommended a tire shop that does rim repairs. I had a problem with a slight brushing metallic sound that speeds up and slows down as I go faster slower.
Had the rotors skimmed but sound was still there so now I think the two are related. Maybe the bent rim is brushing the dust sheild or something on the brakes.
But anyway, should I buy two decent used rims or try to get the ones I have fixed? Anyone have an idea on the cost for two stock rims or any for sale?
