Stock Cd Player!?!?!

So I bought my 2000 TL a few weeks ago...and for some reason my CD player would not play burnt CD's. And burnt CD's is all I have. I understand most TL owner's have received that problem...so now what's the solution?

What could I do...to fix this problem??

Also I have Navigation, now If I go with an aftermarket CD player, will that mess up anything with my Navigation? Like when the music turn's down when the navigation starts talking will that work when I install the new CD Player? What other solutions are there besides buying a new head unit...

get a 6 CD changer from 02-03. I had that problem and I got the CD changer and the problem solved.
Also you can get the IPOD adapter and hook it up to your car too.
There is a DIY to make it work with navi and aftermarket CD player.

Either a aftermarket (the best in my opinion) or the 02-03 6 disc radio

I think that you will lose the voice navigation instructions with an aftermarket deck. I saw a thread on how to get this to work again but it didn't look easy to do.

And none of the second generation TL radios can play MP3s. For that you'll need an external player, like an iPod (as mentioned above.)

So the 02-03 works perfectly? I don't care about MP3's...I just don't have any CD's that work in my car right now!! Will the Navigation still work like it's suppose to...if I get the 02-03 CD Player?

6 disc changer

will the 02-03 6 disc changer fit into the 00 tl? i found someone who will sell me one but he told me that the harness is different. do i need to change the harness for it to work ? or is it just a slip in. he said he wasn't sure if it will plug in or not. so will it plug in automatically?
