Steering system leak at rotary valve

Hey all, I'm the latest NB here, and I've got an issue. My steering system is leaking at the boot right where the rotary valve meets the steering rack housing.

Looking like it is right in the neighborhood of parts 2 or 34 in the B-33-60

Hope somebody here can give me a hand, has anybody done a remove/replace on this with a write up? Understand I will likely have to drop the rack, is it as easy as draining the PS reservoir, and replacing seals after lowering rack?

This is on a 2002 TL type S. If there is an admin that could help me move this post into the Second Generation section, I'd appreciate it.
