hey all, just wondering if you could help me out with my "SRS" light. so, one day i forgot to close my top window and my car seat got wet. and when I turn my car on, my "SRS" light stays on. any idea what i could do? thanks

 

I just had that issuse with the srs light and I posted a thread on here that says check engine light and srs light look for that and there's a link that some1 posted on there that shows you how to reset it

 

Chk. DIY sticky for instructions to reset. If it comes back take it to the dealer for a scan. Bags won't deploy w/ light on.

 

Try to reset it, but you might actually have a real SRS problem. The seats are loaded with side air bags and if some connection got wet, then they may have been disabled.

Resetting takes like 1 min though, so try that first.

heard of `water on seat` here triggering srs before,,might try a google search for that +acurazine.com to find it
there is a special SRS warranty that covers most of the system for 10 years 150kmiles whichever first --
