Sqeaking noise

Sqeaking noise

so when i turn my steering wheel from left to right at a stop i hear a sqeaking noise from the front of my car..

any ideas?

I had the same issue and so did my nephew who also has a TL. Forgive me since I am not a mechanic but from what my brother told me it is an easy fix some joints in the steering that dry out and just need to be lubed. Like I said forgive me for the lack of details I'm no mechanic. Mine was fixed by the used car dealer that sold me the car since it was only a few weeks since I had bought it. From what I remember the service guy at the dealer mentioned ball joint or something. I don't remember exactly since I had other issue I was more concerned about. Good luck.

could be the coils (springs) binding slightly and rubbing on each other, balljoints (the more likely item)
