From about 25mph and higher my speedometer seems to have a problem it doesn't move smoothly like it is supposed too . It will jump 2 or 3 mph and then stick and then move 2 or 3 . This is a 99 tl with 180,000 mi other than the speedometer everything seems to work great .

 

Its not cable driven so its most likely the gauge. You can buy a new one for about 28 bucks. Look under METER COMPONENTS.
