Soo Confused

Hi all.

I just purchased a Used 1999 3.2 TL with 95000miles on it. I live in Canada but everything is in miles.

Canada uses Daytime Running Lights. The person I bought the car from says that they left the car sitting and had battery problems. CAA replaced the battery and they did not drive it since.

Here are a list of my problems now that I own this great car.

1) There seems to be HID lights not sure if factory or aftermarket. How can I tell? There appears to be a single ballast on one side only (passenger) on the driver side there is a large round box (I am unable to get to the actual bulb & do not know how to undue this.

2) My daytime running lights don't work (mind you when I read the owner's manual it appears as though the US models do not have daytime running lights.

3) I have a spare Honda (yes I know it's an Acura hehehe) cut key that fits in the ignition but does not start the car and the immobilizer light blinks consistently. Is there a way that I can program this key on my own.

4) The rear passenger side door does not unlock or lock when the master power lock (driver door) is initiated or use of keyless remote. But if I manually use the tab on the actual door works fine.

OK that is it for now... There are more but they are little things. I should have looked more carefully. The person before put in an aftermarket alarm system and causing problems (that is being looked at on Monday by a professional).

Any help is great.

It comes with HIDs from the factory, although some people change them to different temperatures for different colors.

I live the US and I have Daytime running lights, so im not sure about that one, or the rest of the questions

1. HID's are standard equipment on this car.

2. U.S. TL's didn't have daytime running lights.

3. I believe you have to have the key programmed into the system by the dealer.

4. The power door lock actuator is either disconnected or defective. Pull the panel off and repair/replace it.
