Yeah my TL 2001. I was using the sport shift and when i rolled up my driveway to put it in park. When I put it in park and my foot off both pedals, the RPM Gauge goes nuts, like it's jumping up to 2500rpms and back down, remember both feet are off the pedals and it's somehow still pressing of the accelorator. any answers would be appreciated?

 

IAC, idle air control is bad or you have air in the cooling system

 

Yeah, I would say it's the IACV. Common problem on the TL.
