Sluggish & strange noise

I have an 03 TL. It is sluggish all the time these days (92K). I've put several containers of fuel injector cleaner in the tank and it does not help. Also it makes a really strange noise at times when going up a hill, almost like a big gasp for air or something. Maybe some kind of valve is sticking shut or something. I don't know. Any ideas? My Acura dealer is so pricey, I'd like to figure this out on my own if I could. They want $1400 to do the 105K service!

Click the thread above. By the way, have you ever had your transmission replaced? That could be the problem. Go to Acura.com, and at the bottom of the website, click ownership experience and then click owner link. This will allow you to register your vehicle. The site will also tell you about recalls on your vehicle and if your vehicle is under warranty.

Wow, thanks to all who recommended seafoam. I followed the instructions in the thread provided and all I can say is wow! The car is now running fantastic again. I'm amazed.
