sluggish at 65 mph?

I dont normally drive my S hard but when im crusing along the freeway up to about 60 it feels fine. When going 65 the pit seems to come in the car would feel a bit slow to get up the 70mph mark. I would have to throttle more about half way to get past the 70 mark. After that if i ease up on it it would feel fine going past 70+ without much lead footing. Am i the only one?

If you have a 5 speed AT, you're probably in 5th gear at 60. 5th is not real responsive when you demand more speed as it's a cruising gear to save fuel. My car does the same thing. You have to kick it to get it to drop a gear. Sometimes in heavier traffic, I'll drive in D4 or SS4 to get more acceleration when I need it. When I really want responsiveness I'll drop into SS3. Always puts a smile on me face .

It does feel sluggish sometimes, and you have to get it up to the speed to keep up the momentum. Depending on the total weight in the car, the momentum speed will vary.
