I feel like an idiot asking this, i'm probably just missing one minor step but....

My tail light burnt out. I replaced it, it works with the lights......but now when i press on the brake, the new bulb will not light up w/ the brake. My Brake Lamp indicator is on as well. Did I forget to do something when I put the new bulb in.....I just popped it in and twisted it back into the casing lol.

 

Are you sure you got the correct bulb? 7443

 

cause theres no other steps to changing the bulb other than taking out the old bulb and putting the new one in. its gott be the wrong bulb or defected.

 

Take it out and look at it. If it's not dual filament and 7443 it's the wrong bulb. Just like everyone else said.

 

I really have no idea what was wrong...I think it was defective. I tried the second bulb in the package and all is good now.

Thanks...I was scared I was too dumb to change a light bulb lol
