My SIDE AIRBAG OFF light came on tonight without a passenger in the seat. Now, when you start the car it lights as usual, goes off, the immediately comes back on. I've consulted the manual that just says "have system checked", but have any of you had this issue and what caused it? I'm assuming that one or more of the seven OPDS sensors is going bad or has failed completely. The seat and OPDS operates normally with a passenger. The light stays off as long as there is weight in the seat.

Looks like more warranty repairs. I'll add this to my list of $4300 in warranted repairs in 4 months of ownership.

I bought this TL in March with 34,414 miles. I've put 10,000 more since then and so far have had a lot of work performed. From having the entire (and I mean ENTIRE) Bose system replaced to the dash to the driver's seat leather and window regulator.
