I am having this issue where the side airbag off light will not turn off, it just started yesterday. It just stays lit all the time I drive it. sometimes when braking and slowing to under 20mph it seems to turn off but is my airbags still covered under warranty? I really hate to go to the dealership but will if I have to.

also when I start the car it turns off like normal but will randomly go on and off. but allways on when car is in motion. absolutely nothing has been in that seat. (I assume it would be the passenger seat?)

Any ideas how to fix this would be great! thanks in advance

Our OPDS Occupant Position Detection System, which is in the right seat and senses when passenger leans forward or lays seat way back = disables the side airbag so it doesn't kill them on deployment!! has a known problem
