Is there any DIY's out there on how to fix to a fix a loose or shorted out, shift plate light connection, mine comes off and on, whenever it feels like it, I know how to get inside of it but then what?

 

take the bezel out around the shift plate... then twist off the shift knob... after that lift up the shift gate.. the light is underneath your functions are like park drive reverse etc just lift that piece up and you will see the bulb

 

the shift plate area lights up? you when where you actually shift from P to R N D etc? i don't even think i've ever seen my mom's acura do it, but then agian i never looked.

 

Thanks guys but I know where the bulb is at, my problem is the connection that goes to the bulb, I thinik it may be loose or it may have a short in it, can someone tell me how to get to that?
