emm, you might want to sit in the car, lock/arm it, then open the door from inside and see if the alarm goes off. that would simulate the car being broken into while armed. let me know what happens. good luck.

With no Beep, it would seem to me that the system is not working.I think if you do a search you might find some info on wiring.....Otherwise go aftermarket Clifford and Python (Ihave) have some nice two way pager alarms, you always know whats up with your car.I've seen them advertised for like 300-350 installed in my area it might be cheaper in you area, since the SF has like the worst cost of living around

when i originally got it last year, i had it installed onto my maxima for 450, that was everything, labor, parts, the alarm, relays for trunk and whatnot.
when i totalled the max, i ripped all the shit out and a friend and I installed it onto the tl. it took a long time and a relatively extenive knowledge on wiring. if you dont mind researching and using www.the12volt.com, youre all good and will pay just the alarm price.
i defintely would say go for installing it yourself. itll take some time, but youll know everything about the alarm and be able to locate/position things to make sure nothing is bypassed by theives (i ran everything from the trunk with an extra battery, everyone expects it to be under the steering wheel, SUPRISE!)
