Is this section new? I don't see any threads prior to 2005.

I've been trying to look up issues with the paint wear on the b-pillar and only found a couple of threads (although very informative). I would have expected more.

Sorry, this is coming from a guy who was pretty active forum member a couple of years ago and have been gone for a while.

 

After teh redesign this section has been added. so yes its new. Have you searched in the 2nd gen part also? there are a few threads on them. Baisically replace them or sand them smooth and repaint them yourself.
