rev limit prob

Just got my car back from the dealership. I got a new tranny, and ecu. My car will only go to 6,500 rmps in first gear now. Will this change? That extra 500 rmps makes a diference.

You shouldn't do that. You need to break in your transmission just like you would a new engine. That's a no-no!

yeah thats what I thought to, but when I asked the guy at the dealership he said breaking in a tranny is not the same at and engine. Guess I should have stuck with my gutt. How long should I wait to rape her again. Will the limit at 6,500 go away?

Do you think I messed up my tranny. I took it up to high rmps a number of times.(was riding with an nsx) Hopefully hondata will start reflashing are ecu's to higher the rev limiters. (I heard something in the 3rd gen section)

I'm confused because shouldnt the ecu automatically shift out of 1st gear by then unless you are gate shifting and even then I dont think we control 1st gear at all.

Yeah your right the ecu automatically shifts in 1st. My question was why my shifts at 6,500 at full throttle instead of 7,000.
