Replacing Hood Struts

The hood on my 2000 TL won't stay open so I need new struts probably -

Any idea where to get a good deal on them?

Thanks

Try rockauto.com. They have good aftermarket OEM replacements.

No need to go OEM on something like this IMO.

I just ordered mines too from RockAuto. They have a lot of variety of different brands of hood support lifts. I ordered hood support lifts from RHINO-PAC through them. They always seem to run out of them but that means they have good and fast service. Btw, if I'm not wrong, the OEM hood support lifts/struts are from a company called STABILUS.

how hard are these to replace? my f'ing hood won't stay up anymore either. i was checking my oil, while getting gas yesterday, & BAM...hood fucking whacks my head. i was pissed , not to mention the 10 people that saw it happen. i bet it was hilarious on their end.

edit: nvm, upon further searching i found info on another thread

Discount Acura Parts

Here is a good discount Acura parts dealer in Delray Florida. I used them when I lived in Fla and still do now that I am in Georgia.

I got mine at the local autozone. I just told him make, model, year. I had been nervous, but they were extremely easy to replace. Easier than changing the oil or a wheel. They ordered them and it took a couple of days.

I picked a set up for like 12-14 bucks each at a local auto parts store.
