replaced bose cd player error code
trying to replace my original BOSE 6 cd changer that was not working anymore with another BOSE 6 cd changer from an identical 2003 TL-S, and although radio works with no problems, cd player continues to give error code Er-E1....tried resetting by disconnecting battery--didnt work..any other ideas--HELP PLEASE!!!

Same error? Was the replacement unit a known working unit?

Wow that's really bad luck. You tried to replace a dud and ended up getting another dud.
