I'm sure this has been on here before but I can't find it. I need to replace my interior r-v mirror (2002 TL-S) due to the now infamous 'bubble' appearance in the mirror. Can anyone direct me to a DIY thread or instruction list for what I need to know to do this? I'd like to avoid the dealer costs. Thanks.

I just replaced mine a couple weeks ago. It was discolored. 90 some bucks From an Acura dealer in Georgia shipped to me. Follow the Directions and spray a little silicon on the mirror mount once you take off the cover. I used a 12 inch screwdriver and just by tapping the end of the screwdriver with my vice grips it popped right off. Use the notch on the base of the mirror. It's nice not to be blinded at night now. The new one slid right on and locked into place.
