Hey I need help removing the domelight and map light housings so I can put some carbon fiber on them, but I can't figure out how they come out. anyone got any suggestions?

 

They just pry off. Get a plastic screwdriver, or something like it (a prying tool)...or just do it using your hands.

 

I think he wants to remove the whole housing. I'm not entirely sure on removing the map lights, but the dome lights are easy to take off. You pry off the plastic cover and remove the screws the hold the housing in place. It might be the same way with the map lights.

There are two points on the map light cover(the clear section) pry these off with a small flat head, then once that is off, put the sunglasses holder in the down position and look up, there are two screws above there, and also two screws above where the map light cover was.

This is the same piece you need to remove if you are replacing your Rear View Mirror(which i got for 15 bucks and did last week)

 

What are the two points on the map light he's talking about?
