I have a 2002 Acura TL type-s that was hit while parked damaging the drivers fender, door, and side mirror. I acquired all three replacement parts from a salvage yard and put in the car. My question is on the drivers door there is a chrome strip that sits just under the bottom of the window. Not the strip that goes up and around the door. I am trying to replace it. The old doors strip is fine. But there is a dent in the chrome strip in the new replacement door. I can’t find anywhere how to uninstall the strip from the old smashed door and install it on the new door. Any help will be appreciated. I want to give the car to my daughter for her 16th birthday in a year and I’m trying to fix it up a bit and get it painted. Thank you
