I have a 1999 Acura TL. The key opener remote opens and locks all doors except the Driver side. Its random since sometimes (2 out of 10) it works.

When it does not work, you will hear a WHIRRING sound near the door lock on the driver side.

I initially thought it was the fuse in the car or the battery on the remote but since it works sometimes, it does seem to be either a sensor or a motor that locks/unlocks.

Anyone had similar issues before?

If it unlocks the other doors its not a fuse or battery. If you hear a noise in the door its most likely a door lock actuator.
