rear speaker

On my 00 TL it appears the rear center speaker got nicked when we were moving somethings to and from the office.

I currently have it unplugged because it makes really nasty noises on the base sections of music.

Is there any hope of repairing it or should I just replace it?

Thanks,

Rob

PS- I'm ticked that Acura didn't better shield this speaker. I'm surprised it's last 8 years.

i thought it was pretty well shielded. Better than most cars ive seen with speakers in the rear deck.

As for the problem it all depends on whats really wrong? What did you "nick" You may be better off searching the black market or ebay for a replacement

First let me say, I've already run seafoam through my car and it didn't fix the speaker... haha ok now seriously.

I'm not sure what got nicked, it appears visually to be just fine. But my ears say otherwise.

Do you think if I gave it a light tap with a hammer I might set it back into place?
