I installed a partial cold air intake were I reused the first tube (the one that has the two tubes from the engine plugged into the sides and the baffle plugged into the bottom) and then has a black intake tube going to were the old air box used to be with a filter on the end isolated by the battery. I now hear a decently loud raspy noise coming from inside the system. It is louder when the A/C is on. I am trying to narrow it down so I took off the filter and still heard it. I took off the black tube and it was still coming from farther back in the system. Today I am going to do the only thing left which is disconnect the tube at the throttle body and see if it is coming from inside the throttle body. It sounds like a vacume noise sucking air. I know that this is what it does(sucks air) but I have never heard one that is as loud as this one. Please help with possible causes.
