Radio

I am trying to install my amp and speaker up to my radio, but I have no clue how to get the radio out. We already have taken the front dash cover off.
Thanks!!

No problem.

The above question is do you have the factory radio that came with the car or do you have a radio that you bought at say like best buy?

It's the factory radio, b/c i want to be able to use my volume controls on my steering wheel. And besides I don't fix it unless it's broke. The website the guy above showed in detail as long as it's the same way in the 99 TL's. If there is a difference please let me know. Again thanks so much!!!!!

basically, open the arm rest, pop of both wood trims, unscrew the two screws in the bottom of the arm rest, unscrew all the screws along the shifter area, pull off both panels along the radio, pop off the shifter plate, heater buttons etc. you should after this point be at the radio to pull it out. yes, she is snug as a bug in the TL, hard to get her in, hard to get her out, not a simple swap like other cars.

that link above is what you should follow.
