One of my two radiator fans continue to run for up to 15 minutes after shutting the car off. The engine temp gauge reads halfway between the middle and cool, so I don't have a hot engine. I have come to disconnecting the power feed when I park and reconnect before I leave. Any ideas what the problem might be???

 

you most likely have a bad `fan temp sensor`- look under the car- bottem right corner of the radiator for a thing with a wire going to it
Pretty common failure and easy to replace-

ya we actually had a thread going not to long ago about this


In my case it turned out that the condensor fan had burnt out and the radiator fan took over the job of the two and was doing all the work. it was good that I fixed it fast because having the radiator fan runnijng after he engine is off is not a good sign.

 

yea i had the same promblem funny thing was my promblem was the reserivor tank for the coolant apparently i was adding coolant and when i put the cap back on i didnt realize that the hose thats inside the tank fell off......hopefully ur promblem is simple and easy to fix

 

got to watch that hose- it makes the transfer system in the radiator to work
-without that- the radiator will get juat a bit low and cause problems
