Rack N Pinion Leaking

Well my rack is leaking from main part to steering wheel Its coming down from the rubber piece i will take a pik to show you is it worth fixing if i can or do i just get a new one how do i go about this problem

So it is coming from inside some were in that rubber piece surrounding all around tha top of rack.The other side as well i no its not one of the other connections you see.so what do you think it could be a easy fix

is that boot at the end of the pressure section of the rack?
peel it back and ck for fluid getting past the internal rack seal

Okay i dont have my engine in so i cant really see if any more will leak but i no its coming from inside that for sure

Find what is leaking and fix it.

if the end seal is blown, it will have fluid sitting inside the boot,
doesnt need pressure to show existing problem

Well i stuck my finger and yes it there is fluid inside the boot of the pik i have up.So is it worth fixing. If i can or worth getting another rack

Ive never heard of anyone fixing a leaking rack
usually by then its got internal crud problems from the fluid never being changed
its a bit of work to remove and replace but can be done
iirc fsttyms1 did it

anyone else with personal experience- link to thread-- suggestion of store for purchase?

Now what i dont get where was it leaking from is the leak prob when i put it back in but the fluid doesnt do through that top top that just connects to wheel rite.or am i wrong.
