problem with radio code

i got the serial # off the radio which is BA055720
& the VIN # for the car is 19UUA566X2A006345
& the code that was given to me by ACURA was 21646 so i punch in the code given to me & it still reads ERROR so i told ACURA the code was wrong that the radio was still reading ERROR so i was given a 2nd code which was 61613 & the radio is still reading ERROR

my boy is willing to change the radio to put in a Double Din but funds are low right now, any body ever had this problem?

i remeber my boy who owns a 2001 Honda Odyssey told me his OEM radio was locked when he bought it & found a way to bypass the radio (online) so it won't ever lock on him, something about removing a resistor i think inside the radio, is there something like that for the TL radio???

you have a year that needs the antenna unplugged behind radio, lokk behind driver corner for wire connection
or go to an underground parking lot- like a shopping mall or tall building with concrete over you-- to block radio signal

then try the codes--its wierd but it works

you cant bypass it- it only locks when battery power is removed- radio thinks its stolen and locks down so its worthless

If you know your removing the battery beforehand, set the radio to a weak AM station before cutting power.
Less stations around that AM station the better.

as always you provide 100% good info, thank alot, just went out and removed the antenna and punch in the code and it worked, now he needs some front speakers because he is not getting any sounds and the CD changer reads ERROR but he is ok with it, he is going to buy one of the universal tapes so he can plug into iPod to play in the tape deck for now, thanks alot again
