Aight I have a 00 TL-P. I just noticed this the other day. When I am at a complete stop in park and I shift to D5 it seems like there is a slight delay when it actually catches the gear. Also I noticed one day I gunned it and released the pedal immediately after that the motor reved up high but it didnt really take off. It seemed as if it was just spinning. Hopefully you all have good news like I am just tripping and nothing is wrong with my Tranny.

 

The revving while in gear but not moving is slippage and a common sign of transmission failure. How many miles do you have?
